East Shore Road near north of Northern Boulevard
This is the strip of roadway that runs north of Northern Boulevard (at community drive, just past North Shore University Hospital) and continues along the shoreline to the intersection of station road(on the leFort Although the limit is 30, it is deceiving due to the long, uninterrupted roadway with no cross streets along the water’s edge. The police sit up in the driveways on the right in unmarked silver cars and most often get drivers going northwest around the curve at anything above 30 mph.
Lakeville Road near Northern Boulevard
Right after Seven Sea’s Diner or Right before it. There are always cops standing by and looking for Speeders Be Careful.
East Shore Road near State Route 25A
After you turn off of Northern Boulevard, heading towards Great Neck and pass the supermarket, the cops sit at the top of the hill and have a view of the long straightaway, with a 30 mile per hour limit, despite two lanes. They also get you coming the other way, looking like a parked car at the bottom of the hill.
