Massapequa, New York Speed Traps

Police parked on the west side of Broadway – on the Sidewalk next to Modica Broadway Market‎. This area is a school zone and the speed limit is 25. There is a cop there at some point Every Day.

During the hours of 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, on Monday – Friday during school days, the speed limit goes from 35 MPH to 25 MPH and the cops are hiding. Big time speeding tickect. You must face a judge. At least $400.00 bucks and 3 points on your license.

Going East or West Automatic cameras looking for over 30 mph or illegal right turns

Off of one of the side streets the police is posted with a motor cycle and walks out to street with a speed gun.

Across the street from AG Berner Middle school, there is a type of poilce refueling station. It is fenced in and the vehicles can only be seen when either of the two openings are passed. They are almost always there, and they are usually in packs.
