Penn Yan, New York Speed Traps

heading south out of town on 14A going up the hill are 2 lanes up and 1 coming down. No posted speed limit past the flashing light, I made a right hand turn off of south ave. (where the flashing light is) onto 14A going up the hill, picked up speed assuming it was 55got to the top of the hill approx. 1/4 mile and there was a cop taking radar, right in front of the End of 30 mph sign. In NY i thought if the speed wasn’t posted it was 55. Guess not… be careful here definite speed trap.
