Port Washington Blvd and Main Street
You can often find a cop car in the parking lot in the Capital One Bank waiting to pounce on cars speeding through the intersection to try and beat the light. He is always pointed towards the Blvd. but will still nab you if you make a right onto Main Street.
Stonytown Road, West of Port Washington Boulevard
Stonytown Road has a posted speed limit of 30 mph. When you make the turn off PW Blvd, it goes downhill for 1/4 of a mile. Since PW Blvd is a fast moving thoroughfare, and Stonytown is downhill and wide open, it is very hard to slow down to 30. I got a 50 in a 30 ticket here. Police congregate in the parking lots of the LIRR Plandome Station, West and east of the RR tracks.
