Presho, New York Speed Traps

Between the PA state line and Presho, NY along I-99 is a HEAVY enforcement zone. The PA speed limit is 70mph and is lightly enforced on their side of the border, because it’s very rural. The NY limit is 65mph and is very heavily enforced by the State Police at several spots along this approximately 7 mile stretch of scenic road. People really need to wake up and be aware of the speed limit change because, on certain days I have seen as many as four cruisers parked along this stretch, not always in plain sight. Enforcement is very aggressive here. Be aware, and watch for people bunching up because of traffic stops. Be kind and allow room to get over if someone else is stopped, please.
