Taconic Parkway near Mile Marker 30.2
Going North bound, sitting in cutaway on your right. State Police faces south, looking at you. Never seen a Police car turnaround as fast as this one does when he wants to get someone.
Taconic Parkway near Exit Number Bryant Pond Road
Bryant Pond Road exit, Taconic State Parkway. Both northbound and southbound traffic enforced; commonly parked on the entrance ramps to the Parkway, hidden (back) from view of directionally moving traffic. Very occasionally radar is used from parked Trooper car sitting on bridge overpass.
Taconic State Parkway near Miller Hill Road
Miller Hill Road exit, Taconic State Parkway. Usually facing northbound traffic but available to both directions via sitting on on-ramps. Usually facing northbound traffic during AM rush hours and PM rush / late nights, sometimes weekends.
Taconic Parkway near State Route 301
On Taconic Parkway, between Pudding Street and Route 301 exits, in wooded center median. Normally faces southbound traffic but traps available both northbound and southbound. Most common is facing southbound traffic immediately across from small park entrance on right, after largest snaking curves south of Route 301 exit. During summer hides behind bushes facing traffic.
