Rosendale, New York Speed Traps
Route 213
Anywhere in the town of Rosendale, the police are out in force looking for speeders. In particular, Route 213 west of Main Street all the way out toward High Falls, the speed limit is only 30 mph. New stop signs have been installed in the back roads near St. Peter’s Church and many roll through drivers are caught there. Also beware along Springtown Road. The town of Rosendale makes lots of money on traffic tickets so just obey all the rules when travelling through.
Lucas Tpk, between Rosenendale Elementry & past Cottekill Rd
Just South of school there is a 35mph sign (partially hidden) continues past Cottekill Rd. Town police wait just beyond Brookside School to catch you. Be careful .
Route 213 east leaving high falls
The speed in High Falls Village is 35; as you leave town towards Rosendale Village there is no sign indicating speed limit is ended; State Trooper waits before High Falls Motel to grab you, even though it’s open highway.
Rt 32 at Tillson
Police like to sit in a parking lot north of Tillson Rd it’s 40 Mph zone its been used for years and they have a clear shot north through the entire zone.
Rt 32 at Birmingham Lane Bloomington
Police like to sit on this street one its been used for years and they have a clear shot north through in a passing zone just north of the thruway.
