Johnston Road
This road is the classic example of a road whose speed limit is grossly underposted. At the beginning of the road near where it comes out onto Western Ave. (US 20), there are a lot of houses, so the 30 mph. speed limit is appropriate. However farther down the road, it becomes a quiet country road with good visibility and few hazards, where the speed limit could easily be raised to 45 or 50 mph., however the entire open stretch of the road remains at 30 mph. Town police usually hide in a grassy area right at the bottom of the hill and will nail you for going over 35 mph.
