Somers, New York Speed Traps

State Troopers park on Southbound side and shoot laser down the road catching Northbound speeders. I challenge anyone to find a speed limit sign. There isn’t one for miles.

Police hide in area near the small lake. Coming from Putnam into
Westchester the road is down hill and the speed limit is 30 mph.
Very easy to go over 40.

Northbound in the evenings, southbound in the mornings, at least twice a month with heavy police interception.

Police car is usually parked in one of the driveways of the Stonewall Farm, completely hidden by trees and terrain so you see them too late.
