Ulster, New York Speed Traps

When you get of I-87 to head west on NYS Rt. 28 the speed limit is 45mph; after traveling on I 87 w/ a limit of 65, it is hard to go that slow and the police are waiting for you within the first mile or 2. Speed limit on 28 varies between 55 in remote areas and 45 as you pass through towns. Anything more than 5 mph above the limit guarantees you a ticket.

If you never left the Thruway and headed west on Route 28 from Ulster to Delaware Co. You would know the cops love this area for pulling over drivers for speeding. The road limits go from 45 to 35 to 55 all along that route. Great place to get tickets. Better watch,they are all over the road ready to get you.
