Vestal, New York Speed Traps

Vestal Parkway has speed traps at several locations. The speed limit is 45 MPH and they will ticket you for speeds over 50 MPH.

Has caught me 8 times in the last 10 months.

I was traveling exactly at posted limit and was pulled over and told I was traveling 24 mph over. Officer let me go without proving my ID when I told him I know exactly how fast I was going. it was 4 AM and I had nothing to drink. Avoid Vestal when possible!

Patrols all over foster road, watch out for the half mile incline to Bunn Hill from 26N. They sit behind some bushes up at an "S" curve, cannot seen until within 300′

Cruiser parked in the LDS Church at the bottom of Murray Hill Rd, often patroling the street in the evening. Anything over 38MPH will garner you a ticket. They’re especially likely to pull over college and highschool students.
