Lots of trees & bushes. The guardrail ends. There’s a sign for the Merrick Rd exit. They sit there in a spot where you don’t see them till you’re next to and passing the parked cruiser.
Nassau County Rt.135 exit 5-Jerusalem Ave.
near end of exit ramp. on the dirt shoulders, cruisers are watching for you. radar guns for exit speed[s], checking inspections, registrations, seat belts, signaling, etc. for turns onto Seaman Neck Road from south bound Rt.135-Seaford Oyster Bay. Various times of the month. not only when they have to ‘make their numbers.’

Wantagh Ave & N. Jerusalem Road intersection has a red light camera both north and southbound!
Going west on the Wantagh Parkway
As you become closer to the entrance (west) of Southern State parkway, there are troopers parked on the west side of the road, near the service turnaround. They are there every weekday morning during rush hour!
Wantagh Avenue near State Highway Sunrise
In Between Merrick Road and Sunrise Hwy on Wantagh Avenue. The officer stands in front of his car at the Wantagh Fire Station, he steps out when a car approaches, points his gun at you and then points at you to pull over. The posted speed limit use to be 40, but 3 years ago it was changed to 30..watch out!
