White Plains, New York Speed Traps

The speed limit is posteed at 40MPH for a long way. During school hours there is a 2 block area that has unusual signs up high on telephone pools that say school district speed 20mph. As soon as you pass these 2 blocks you are pulled over by troopers who are waiting.

Officers sit on Westchester Ave, just after Entrance to 287. As you round the corner they have the radar gun up and catch you switching from 55 to 35.

North bound on Expressway, Just before Stop & Shop Supermarket. They made a cut in the shoulder close to the Marshes so they can hide the police car amd not be seen untill its to late.

The speed limit is strictly enforced here. The police have their vehicle parked in such a way that you think they’re off-duty. Speed limit is 30 mph. The street begs you to drive faster!
