White Plains, New York Speed Traps
Mamaroneck Avenue
From Ridgeway past Our Lady of Sorrows School. Both directions from 7am through 4pm when the 25 mph signs are flashing on school days…..They mean 25mph. Usually one car sits in a cut through and zaps you and another car chases. You will not get off without a ticket.
Bloomingdale Road near Interstate 287
As soon as driver comes off i-287 near the Westchester Mall and they make a left, there are signs posted for 30MPH speed limit. Officer usually stands outside his cruiser and LIDARs people and then signals them to stop with his hand. I have seen him pull 10+ people over in the timespan of a few months.
Westchester Avenue near South Kensico Avenue
When traveling west on westchester ave, they hide on the sidewalk by the brush on your right. They will nail you anytime, and don’t even think you’re getting a break. Speed limit is 35, and for those of you who get off of 287 and are still in highway mode….well let’s put it this way, you’re in trouble.

Mamoroneck Avenue
On Mamoroneck Avenue, there is a 2 block span where its a 25mph School Zone in between a 40mph regular Speed Limit. Also, the road is on a downward slope. The officer is waiting there almost every morning catching people within that 2 block span speeding. Better watch out because I got caught the first time I was in the area.
