Coming off the Throgs Neck Bridge ontp the Clearview Expressway southbound is usually a marked car on the shoulder. The speed limit is 45 off the bridge and he sits just before the 50 MPH sign to catch people speeding. However, I’ve gone past him/her several times doing 55-65 and never gotten caught or even seen him move. As long as you’re not doing 75, you should be good. Just go with the flow of traffic.

Getting off the Whitestone Bridge going S/B onto the Whitestone Expressway. As soon as you get off the bridge and approach a curve, there is a police car hiding on the left side of the roade. Posted speed limit is 40mph, but it’s easy to do 50 or more going down the bridge. I’ve seen people nailed on two occasions within the last two months.
