Williamson, New York Speed Traps
Rt. 104
State Trouper station in Williamson, that sets up multi speed traps between the towns of Williamson and Ontario, and they do move them around. They also have real time scanner technology. They look and stop for any type infraction like light out. Any excuse to stop and also check for drinking or driving impaired. Last week of month very active. There is not a trip taken down this 12 miles of Rt 104 without seeing one and/or has someone pulled over.

Troopers sit in Rite Aid parking lot and snag speeders, etc… going in both directions (east & west).
Sit behind town highway barn southside route 104.
Looking West behind a tree or gravel pile next to or behind highway dept salt barn near 104. Speed reduces to 45 from 55.
East Williamson Townline Rd. just south of Ridge Rd.
Both Sheriff and State Troopers Will sit in the firehouse parking lot , or the lot directly across the street facing south catching northbound traffic. It’s down hill and 35mph. Very easy to speed without knowing it. Watch out! They are there a lot.

They like to sit behind the hardware store in Williamson on occasion, beaming people as they go by.
