Harris Blvd is a 6 lane divided street in this area with a speed limit set at 45 mph. The speed trap is approx. 1/2 mile from where Sharon Amity intersects with Harris Blvd. going toward The Plaza on the rightside. It is run by Char-Meck Police in a marked car. As you come around the bend, the road straightens out heading towards The Plaza. If you don’t have a radar detector & your over the speed limit, it will cost you some money.

Cops sit around the county line on the median, before you reach Tom Short road travelling towards Union Co. He usually sits after dark with his lights off.

State Highway Patrol on I-485 between mile markers 42 and 36 on a Monday-Friday basis.

Usually out on a weekend. Waiting at Rama Rd Elem. School using instant on radar to catch cars headed either way.

Motorcycle cops will sit under the Morehead Rd. overpass, waiting for unsuspecting morning commuters headed into Uptown via South Blvd.
