Greenwood, Nova Scotia Speed Traps

One marked car sits across the street from Mimie’s Pizza (678 Central Ave). The other sits in an unmarked SUV, videotaping, in the parking lot of Avery’s Farm Market (619 Central Ave) approximately 1.5 to 2 blocks away.
This is the second time in as many weeks I’ve seen them there.

Police set up radar on the north side of Ward Road. Very large bushes provide a screen for their vehicles and officers shield themselves and radar device under the branches as well. They are very difficult to see when travelling West on Ward Road, but are quite visible when travelling east. Also – note there is a school zone posted and they enforce posted school zone late afternoon and evenings.

RCMP sit road side after dark with their lights off and in a ghost car so you can’t see the reflectors…as soon as you pass the lights go on…gotch ya!
