Bethel, Ohio Speed Traps

As of June 2022 ticket revenue has increased from around $3,000 per month to $20,000 per month. The local police department has turned to writing as many traffic tickets as possible with the sole purpose of increasing revenue.
Drivers beware.

West bound SR125 after leaving last traffic light in Bethel the speed limit changes from 25 to 35 at the Sunoco station. The 35mph zone continues untill you pass Grant JVS then changes to 45. The Bethel police cars are dark grey Chargers that blend in. They are always moving from center of town to the vocatioal school. They often work in pairs.

The spped limit frops from 50 all the way to 25! There are signs saying speed redueced ahead, but it’s a big drop! School time is worse! It is 20 in the 50 for about a half mile!
