Goshen, Ohio Speed Traps
S.R.131
There is a pentacostal church on the R. side as you are traveling toward Butlerville. Goshen cops sit in the church parking lot.
Smith Road – about 1 mile off Highway 28
If you are traveling west on Smith Road after turning off 28, as you go down and back up the second of two dips in the road, there is a farm driveway on your right. The Goshen police will sit there. If you’re heading east from Loveland, be sure you’re at the 35 mph speed limit as you drive by Hickory Woods because they’ll begin to pick you up there from their driveway hiding spot. I’ve also seen a state trooper a couple of times as well but sitting on the other side of the road along the same stretch.
State Route 45 near State Route 534
This township has an unusually large police force who use speed traps to support themselves. I have to go thru it to get to work and there is rarely a day that I don’t see a cop, both going and coming home. They don’t give any breaks and you don’t have to be going much over the limit.
Woodville Pike Road
They sit at JP constructions driveway, and also at the new Telford subdivision.
State Highway 14 near State Highway 534
Township Police unit was stationary, but was probably hidden, since I never saw it, although it was night time. He may have had his lights off.
