Lancaster, Ohio Speed Traps
Rt 22 to Circleville
Heavily patrolled and heavily ticketed between the 33 bypass and Circleville. No tolerance from OHP. 5 over is risky. be careful- they drive it and park in turnouts.
us 33w
heading s/sw on 33 near lancaster came up behind a white dodge mini van in right lane and small black dodge car in left running about 62 in the 65 zone. they stayed side by side for about 8 miles untill the car finaly moved over before a curve. i sped up to pass and like magic 2 ohp cars waiting on me around the curve. since i was on vacation and 100 plus miles from home i didn’t stand a chance of getting out of that one. they make a rolling road block to tick you off then nail you.

33 Bypass
The entire new 33 bypass around Lancaster, OH is a speed trap. The OHP sit on entrance ramps, use planes, hide on the right hand side near bridges, and patrol the area heavily. Set the cruise at no more than 5mph over the limit.
North Columbus Street near Riverview Diagnostic Center/ Taylor Chevrolet
This portion of North Columbus Street runs behind Riverview Diagnostic Center and Taylor Chevrolet. There is only one speed limit sign and it is easy to miss. The speed limit is 35, which is a bit low in my opinion, though it is a busy stretch of highway. I was stopped doing 55mph and given a warning.
