Interstate I-35 near N.W. 122nd Road

Oklahoma City, OklahomaOct 14, 20070 Comments

They will have a SUV in the median at the 122nd street bridge running radar. Other unmarked trooper cars to pull you over and vehicle searches are extremely common with these stops.

Santa Fe Road near Memorial Road

Oklahoma City, OklahomaOct 13, 20070 Comments

OKC PD sit all over the place on Santa Fe Ave between Memorial and S 33rd in Edmond. I cannot locate any speed limit signs anywhere in here. About every 40 feet there are signs indicating a middle turn lane — no speed limit signs! I have notified the city of this concern on several occasions over the past two years to no avail.

US Highway I-240 near Midwest Blvd Boulevard

Oklahoma City, OklahomaSep 26, 20070 Comments

Going eastbound toward Tinker AFB, Oklahoma City police and the Highway Patrol both will sit behind the embankment for the Midwest Blvd overpass and radar vehicles as they pass. Day and night. Also, there is a sign just before that overpass with the big barrels around the posts that they will sit behind. With their lights off, it is impossible to see them until it is too late.

Interstate I-240 near Interstate I-35

Oklahoma City, OklahomaSep 23, 20070 Comments

State Troopers sit just east of I-35 on I-240 in the median either direction. Transition from 60 to 65 mph depending on which way you are travelling.
