Ajax, Ontario Speed Traps

East bound on Rossland Road east of Salem the policemen sits on the south side of Rossland and hides his cruiser in the entrance of a farmers field. Speed limit is 50 km/h in this area and it’s easy to go 70+ through here as there is no traffic most of the time.

Traps are located between Church St and Westney Rd on Highway 2 aka Kingston Rd. Radar traps are set on the South side in the church parking lot, and North side in the gas station. For this stretch only, limits reduce from 60km to 50km, and are enforced regularly.

Northbound on Harwood just before Rossland, there is a road off to the right (Fishlock) that is little more than a dug-out, a tractor rig usually parks there. Cops like to hide behind the rig with radar. This is near a school zone (not in a school zone) and posted limit is 60 km but if radar is there they have zero tolerance if you go over.
