Burlington Street near Lancaster Street
Eastbound on Burlington St as you come down off the overpass at Wilcox St the cruiser is parked on Lancaster St. at the Venietian Meats factory. You don’t see him until you come over he crest of the overepass. Lancaster is last srteet before Gage Ave.
Nash South Road near King St. Street
Police sitting on Rainbow Dr (200m from King St), facing North bound. South bound vehicles will be clocked, no enforcement North bound.
Upper James Street near Queensdale Avenue
They stand at the corner of Queensdale Ave and Upper James with radar to get the traffic coming up the Claremont Access where it changes from 70 km/h to 50 km/h as you come around that top curve. The police car is usually parked out of view behind the variety store on Queensdale west of Upper James.
York Boulevard near Rolph Gate Drive
Police park on Rolph Gate a couple metres back from York Blvd and will pull out with lights flashing to pull over speeders. Sometimes the cruiser is an unmarked vehicle. Rolph Gate is a small road/drive at the east end of Dundurn Castle’s park heading north off York Blvd. This speed trap affects traffic traveling westbound on York Blvd, which at this point is three lanes with the right lane often untraveled, creating a tempting speeding opportunity. Be careful!
Upper Sherman Avenue near Burkeholder Street
A police cruiser parks on south side of Burkeholder and the officer stands by the hydro pole. There is a bus stop on the north side of Burkeholder that blocks the drivers view of the upcoming trap.
