Markham, Ontario Speed Traps

Just before the sign where the speed limit changes. Haven’t seen them there in years. Looks like it’s getting used again.

1st time saw police catching vehicles going north down the hill with only a 50 km/hr posted speed limit. It was on the right hand side. I have seen more traps south bound.

Speed drops from 60 to 50. Black undercover cruiser sits behind factories on that street. I’ve seen the same cop pull over multiple people including myself in the same spot.

The trap is located in the parking lot at 800 Denison Street and they use an "instant on" unit and are hidden by the bushes so there is nothing to see until it is too late. Speed limit along Denison Street is 50 km/hr. This is a brand new one folks and when I was caught yesterday, they were swatting us like flies so watch your speed along here.

OPP will be waiting on the left side beside the HOV lane, clocking cars coming down from the 404.
