Mississauga, Ontario Speed Traps

At the bottom of the hill on Cawthra going under Dundas. they have you when you hit the bottom

Eastbound on Burnhamthorpe between Fieldgate and Ponytrail is downhill with a posted speed limit of 60 km/h while everyone does 70-80 km/h. Cops hang out @ the Fleetwood Park parking lot or the Sts. M&M Church.

Just before you get on the Burnahampthorpe Bridge (to get across the credit river) there is a spot that fishermen use to get to the river (this is on the east side of the bridge) cops are there more and more often because pple like myself like to rip it across the bridge.

As you pass McLaughlin, going eastbound on Courtney Park watch out for marked and/or unmarked police cruisers. They park their cars on a side street completely invisible to the
Courney Park eastbound trafic. They use radar guns either handheld or on stand on the south side of Coutney Park. The tricky part in all this is that there is no posted speed limit on this strech of road (Courney Park btwn McLaughlin and HWY 10) which is new, wide and smooth. There is some sign well passed Kenedy saying that Mississauga speed limit is 50 km/hr unless otherwise stated. So I guess no posted speed limit means 50 km/hr. Today around 12:30 pm I got scanned doing 50 and I was OK. Two cars behind me got pulled over.

Drive slow on Eglinton driving towards Mississauga Road & Erin Mills. Lots of people being pulled over for speeding on that road.
