Mississauga, Ontario Speed Traps
Erin Mills Parkway — just south of Thomas St.
Heading North or Southbound on Erin Mills pkwy, just between Thomas St. and Erin Centre Blvd, there is an intersection with no traffic lights. I travel this route to work, and regularly see police doing radar while parked in this intersection. They have done in on both sides of the road, usually after 3pm Mon – Fri, but have also seen them here during morning rush hour and on Saturdays. BE CAREFUL.
Eglinton Ave (East bound) & Hewick’s Ln ( Just east of Mississauga Rd)
Cops with Radar gun on tripod on Hewick’s Ln, aiming @ Eglinton Ave East bound. 4-5 police cars ready to chase you parked in Henwick’s Ln.
Britannia between Mississauga Road and Erin Mills Parkway
Travelling East Bound on Britannia Road the speed drops from 60km/h to 50km/h and as you approach Mississauga Road there usually is an officer with RADAR looking at both directions of traffic. Typically there during the morning rush.
Rathburn – Between Mavis and Creditview
In school zone, cruiser will often sit in Deer Run Park parking lot across the street from the school.
Argentia, 1 km west of creditview
Cruisers usually park in the lot after the tracks and tag cars coming eastbound. Argentia also has other areas which are popular for traps, but this is the most common one i have come across.
