In an unmarked van, parked in the centre turn lane, facing north at the bottom of the hill over the 401. Limit is 50 km/hr. Since speeds coming off the 401 are high, the tendency is to continue at a speed over 50. Sometimes 2 officers at location.

Heading east on Ellesmere as you cross over the bridge(just past Orton Pk) cops sit on the little road on the right which is beside the hospital. They are pretty well hidden and you don’t see them til you’re on top of them.

Brimley Road near Highway 401 Overpass

Northbound… the speed limit drops from 60Km/hour to 50Km/hour at the top of the overpass, before entering a school zone. Generally, the radar trap is at the bottom of the overpass in a rarely used left-turn lane, convenient to pull speeders over. Infrequently, the radar trap is closer to Pitfield Road on the right hand side, in amongst the trees, or even beyond Pitfield Road in the school parking lot.
