Lawrence Avenue near Caledonia Road

When travelling westbound on Lawrence Avenue West, the officer’s car is parked in the park on the north side just east of Caledonia Road. Sometimes there is just one officer and other times there is more than one.

Ossignton Street near Essex Street

Toronto, OntarioNov 14, 20070 Comments

Usually going North bound of Ossington. They hide their cars on Essex street (one way street). The north bound cars cannot see the cops until too late.

Ossignton St N – (Bloor and Ossington-Toronto)

Brimley Road near Pitfield Road

Toronto, OntarioNov 08, 20070 Comments

Brimley just north of Ellesmere drops from 60klm to 50klm in the middle part of the bridge at the peak in the road. There is also a school, always radar in the school zone.

Parkside Drive near South East Side of High Park

Toronto, OntarioNov 07, 20070 Comments

Traveling south of Bloor St. on Parkside Drive there is often a trap setup just before you reach the Queensway underpass which leads to Lakeshore. (about .7 KM south of Bloor) It’s just at a turn-in road leading into High Park; especially annonying since the road is well hidden and you’ll be going downhill so it’s quite easy to go fast. Note- there is a sign just south of Bloor that Warns that speed is enforced – Believe It! ( weekends seem to be monitored more then weekends)

Spadina Road near Russell Hill Road

Toronto, OntarioOct 24, 20070 Comments

South of St. Clair going southbound. Downhill. Very nasty. Posted signs are completely obstructed by foliage from streetside trees. Officer hides mounted radar unit behind a stone wall at Russell Hill, just at the end of the overpass/bridge. Only clear sign south of St. Clair is on that bridge but Lidar is pointed at beginning of it (bottom of hill) so it’s too late to adjust. Photograph evidence is almost always deemed inadmissible in Ontario courts. In other words, an ideal "cash register" for enforcement officers.
