Windsor, Ontario Speed Traps
E.C. Rowe Expressway near Central Avenue
Various. Radar car sits on overpass or in parking lots along south service Rd.
Wyandotte Street near Fairview Street
They sit in the left turn lane for any of the side streets between St. Rose and Lauzon on Wyandotte St. E. Pointing east at westbound traffic. Seen multiple times now.
Lauzon Road near Wyandotte Street
Black, unmarked Magnums and Pick-up trucks will frequently park in the outer lanes of Lauzon Road, in the darkest areas, farthest from the street lights–they blend in with the darkness quite well. It is not uncommon to get tickets for going even 65km/h or 70km/h on Lauzon Road, which is a 50km/h zone. Beware because I see police pulling people over on this road at all times of the day, and I’ve heard of many friends getting tickets on it as well.
Riverside Drive near Walker Road
Near the Walker Brewery Complex, a motorcycle cop was hidden, facing traffic westbound. Nearby another motorcycle cop was hidden facing traffic eastbound. They each pulled over a vehicle around the exact same time same time going in opposite directions.
E.C Rowe Expressway near Central Avenue
Officer sits on Central Avenue overpass and points to the eastbound lanes. Catches speeders as they come from over the hill at Walker Road overpass.
