It’s rare to see a five lane road with a 25 mph speed limit, but that’s what we’ve got here. Police are not afraid to write a ticket. NOTE: Police will also pull you over late at night, even if you’ve done nothing wrong. They will claim that you have a malfunctioning brake light or license plate light, or they’ll come up with some other untrue excuse. They’ve always let me go after they ascertained that I wasn’t a criminal or a drunken driver, but still, is it legal for officers to stop my car and demand license and registration if I’ve broken no laws?

Cop sits in grass between the two freelanes at night in an all black car…very hard to see. About .5 miles past lake oswego exit, and right after the taulatin exit. The officer does this in many places for the remaining miles of I5, if you are driving fast,, WHATCh THE SHOULDER!!
