Hwy. 97 between Modoc Point and Williamson River Bridge
Modoc Point is a small village north of Klamath Falls, and between it and the Williamson River Bridge and Kla-Mo-Ya Casino a few miles north, there is some type of radar emitter in the area which operates on the X band. Many radar detectors cannot give two warnings at once, so while your detector is tied up with the X signal, State Police will hide in the cover of this zone and use another type of radar, usually Ka band.
