Pleasant Hill, Oregon Speed Traps
Highway 58 at Pleasant Hill
A lot of tickets are written in this area. The 45 MPH zone is about 2 1/2 miles in length. But the normal Highway signs are placed at a couple of places in each direction. In addition, a portion of the 45 MPH zone is reduced to 20 MPH zone, when the yellow flashing lights are displayed, for about a quarter of a mile near the Pleasant Hill Schools. I don’t think any of this is a speed trap. It is a busy spot for the police simply because the public sometimes ignores the speed limit signs.
