Bucks, Pennsylvania Speed Traps
County Line Road near Bustleton Avenue
From the intersection with Bustleton Avenue, there is a hill that you go up, once you start heading down, you will notice white lines across the road that the police use to time you. When they run the trap, they pull over a lot of cars all at once like an assembly line.
They time you and then radio ahead so an office two streets up directs you to turn in where they give you your ticket.
California Road near San Fransico Drive
This speed trap is located near a housing development that was built prior to 1980. The speed trap was at this location since then. Until 2005, the speed limit was appropriately set at 40mph. Now it is 25mph. This change has caused controversy by the locals since it obviously a trap. Anytime of the day, traffic can be seen to go at the previous speed of 40mph. Like shooting fish in a barrel for any LEO who watches that spot.
