It’s next to a park. The officer checking for speeders was hidden. I was looking off to my left into the park and then next thing I knew there was an officer standing in the middle of the road, directing me to make a right onto a side street. There were at least nine other cars also pulled over.

Patrolled and radar 24 hours a day. Everyone is charged with 20 mph over the 35 mph overhead electronic signs. Standing inline to pay my ticket in Bridgeport and comparing notes. $200 fine or $250 to be charged NO points!

Route 100 has been the sight of many accidents. In an effort to save lives, there is new speed limits in force and the police actively patrol this corridor.

Coming downhill off the Commodore Barry Bridge into PA the Port Authority police park the car in the breakdown lane and open the trunk to resemble a distressed motorist, thus obscuring the lights on the roof of the police car. They post speeds electronically on the bridge and usually post reduced speeds, 35 or less, when they are out.
