Douglassville, Pennsylvania Speed Traps

On SR 422 West, just West of Maplewood Drive, just past the last of the series of Douglassville traffic lights, state trooper in unmarked car sits in private commercial lot to right of roadway. Radar clocking is passed to waiting Amity Twp police who make the stop around Old Airport Road. Also saw a semi pulled over on eastbound side of 422 at Old Airport Road, not sure where that measurement was made. Speed limit 45.

At the end of Route 422 West, the last couple thousand feet the speed limit changes from 55MPH to 45MPH and yes there are 2 big white signs that tell you. 1 Officer hides behind the guard rail crouched down with a radar gun and he radios ahead to 4 or 5 police cars waiting to pull over the speeding vehicles that he describes.
