Downingtown, Pennsylvania Speed Traps
Dowlin Forge Road
Heading away from Eagleview Blvd towards Peck Road on Dowlin Forge Road.
As you go down the hill, there are two cinder blocks on the right hand
side of the road that harness the radar/speed strips. The cop sits on shoulder a little further down the road near Peck Road, and stops motorists going over the 35mph speed limit. This usually is set up during evening rush hour.
west on boot rd heading down hill across from boro court bld
cops sitting in parking lot between Peppridge farm and court building across from deveroue home ,watch speed 40mph coming down hill starting at concrete plant
Whiteford Road at Waterloo Gardens before Rt 30
The speed limit is posted at 25 MPH and the police like to catch people, using radar, coming down the hill. I have seen hundreds of people ticketed here.
Route 30 West at 322 exit
Police set up radar right at the 322 exit and clock you as you drive past. They are usually there at night and in the morning. I have seen them sitting there for years but just got popped for $109.00 the other day because I was not paying attention.
30 West Bypass near on ramp
State Trooper. Parked W/Lights off, while merging from 113 to 30 west bypass clocking people on By-Pass.
