Doylestown, Pennsylvania Speed Traps
State Highway 611 South near Edison-Furlong Road
Driving south on PA 611, early mornings, 6-6:30 say, just before traffic light at intersection with Edison-Furlong Road. A used car lot is on that corner, on the right-hand (southbound) side. The officer likes to sit with his vehicle nestled in among the parked cars there. He may pop out and go after folks who go through the yellow light, etc. No apparent electric devices. I did not see any backup.
Rt. 611 North
When Main St. Doylestown turns into 611 North past the Fred Beans Ford Dealership, there are 2 possible places for them to sit on the right. They are difficult to see, especially is traveling fast.
Rt. 611 and Edison Furlong Rd.
They sit in either the Texaco Station on the Northbound side or the Suburban Autoworks on the Southbound side. Looking for people running the light and speeding.
Rt. 202 Bypass at 202 &313
They either sit by the trees clocking people entering the bypass in between the two lanes, or sitting behind a large pile of stones clocking people exiting the bypass. Most commonly seen them there from 9 PM until 4 AM.
Turk fields on Almshouse and Turk Rds
I have seen them all over the field parking lots very late at night. looking for people blowing stop signs and speeding.
