Fairview, Pennsylvania Speed Traps

Watch for the lines across Rt 382, there are several in this area. Speed limit drops from 55 to 45 suddenly and they sit in wait for you.They won’t, however, pull you over unless you are doing 10 mph or more OVER the speed limit.

cop sits mostly southbound exit 36, but sometimes sit northbound looking for minor violations. I see him about once a week at midnight, often has already pulled someone over.

Fairview twshp cops sit southbound 83 at the Limekiln exit (39) and watch for traffic violations at night.

Car sits in driveway on Ridge Road(600-700 block)across from Churchy Rd.(use to be Gap Rd.), watching for speeders coming around the corner or down the hill.

Officer sits at the intersection of Pleasant View and Sunset Drive (about 500 Fort down the road from the VASCAR lines, partially obscured by trees).
