Top of the hill near the airport. 3 cars had people pulled off at the same time. They have been out everyday for a month.
State Highway Route 15 near County Line Road
Just when entering York County from Adams County the speed limit decreases from 65 mph to 55 mph. After traveling for about a mile you will see County Line Road on your right hand side. You go down a small crest and two large white lines are painted on the roadway. The Northern York County Regional Police are sitting about 100 yards in front of the speed on a elevated pull off area. Watch your speed while traveling this roadway the regional watches speed as if it was his driveway.
State Route 8 near Kwik-Fill
8 mile stretch of route 8 between Franklin and Oil CIty is 4 lanes wide with posted speed limits of 45 most of the way. Area is heavily patrolled by members of the Sugarcreek Borough Police Department. My citation was for 57 in a 45. Numerous "hiding spots" for police, including dirt trail adjacent to Kwik Fill, among others.
Interstate 79 near Exit Number 121
PA State Trooper observed in median sitting approximately 1 mile South of exit 121 (Franklin / Mercer) on I-79 North.
Route 8 at Airport & bottom of hill
Police sit across from the truck pull off at top of the hill & also at the very bottom of the hill. They are especially hostile toward truckers. Truckers are one of their main sorce of fines.
