Gringo Independence Road and Lexington Drive
Cops will sit at the entrance of the Independence Square plan looking for people to not completely stop at the stop sign or vehicles that are driving too fast on the road. Roll your windows down when approaching this intersection if your windows are even slightly tinted. Police will ticket for having any degree of tint (even factory installed) on the windows.
Police presence on the roads in general has gone up considerably in the past year in Hopewell Township. Be very careful when driving in this community.
Kane Road near the cement block plant
The Hopewell Township police like to sit immediately after the two lane bridge where the trucks are parked across from the block plant.
Kane Road near Bradbury Drive
After turning on to Kane Rd from Rt. 151 there is 3 roads on the right before you get to the drive inn theater. They sit far back making them hard to spot.
State Route 60 near Mill St. & Rt 60 Loop
The Hopewell Twp. Police sit at the ramp overlooking Mill St. at Aliquippa Exit of Rt 60. There is a hill approaching the entrance to the expressway. Speed limit is 35 MPH. Typically drivers gain momentum going down the hill to approach the expressway to go towards Pittsburgh. Police are hiding and give no warning.
