Marked with white horizontal lines across the road in front of Bluhms Citgo station and west about 100 Fort past Bee St. lies the 2nd white horizontal line used for VASCAR timing. The officer posts on the North side of State highway 6, while motorists travel route 6 east+west. Be aware the local police have an unmarked white Ford Crown Victoria with a skin roof (no lights on top of car) in which they will rapidly persue and happily capture any and all perpertrators. Good Luck!
Rte 6 E&Westbound
Small town essentially adjacent to but not situated on Rte 6 utilizes the through road as revenue. Open roadway with good visibility contributes to overlooking the 35mph limit especially at the bottom of the long downhill eastbound just entering the Borough. Officer frequently waits on the side street next to the single business on that stretch, a minimart/gas station, but can be found anywhere. Vehicles are unmarked and older private vehicles equipped with grill lights and sirens.
