State Highway 288 near Hickernell Road
Franklin Township police use stopwatch time measurement for travel between two white painted lines on the highway. Police park in a church driveway that is flanked on either side by a hill. They’re totally concealed until you’re in the trap area. Normal speed limit before and after trap area is 45 mph. The area in question is residential but the highway is a major link between villages and has heavy daily auto / truck traffic. The problem is that you’ll get a ticket even at 36 mph.
