Lock Haven, Pennsylvania Speed Traps
I-80 W right before Lock Haven Exit 178

State Route 220 near Auto Auction Rd Crossing
Top of hill between Auto Auction Rd and Salona exit. Lamar township police sit behind road sign and trees.
Rt. 150, Woodward Ave Road near Tobacco Shed Rd. Road
I’ve seen a brown unmarked car at 3 different locations in between Tobacco Shed Road and Stewart Road (1st. road past Buffalo Inn on Woolrich Side) The car sits in under a carport at the house where Ender’s Store used to be. Upper side of Buffalo Inn. Also sits up a steep driveway just down from tobacco shed road. You can’t see this car when headed north toward woolrich. The last place I’ve seen this car is backed up just in the woods where some logging is being done. I doubt that he’ll be sitting there anymore sice so much logging is happening right now.
Interstate 80 near Exit Number 179
Often present and does not give warnings, however there is at least a 5 mph buffer before he pulls cars over. Don’t let flow of traffic fool you. I have seen out of staters especially pulled over out of the pack.
State Highway 220 near State Highway 220
There is an ’emergency turn around’ spot on Route 220, right between the Lock Haven and McElhattan exits. A police car will be sitting there, just waiting. If you’re coming from Lock Haven towards McElhattan you can’t see it until you are right on top of it, because it’s at the top of a hill on a slight curve. I’ve been pulled over there – thankfully I got just a warning, but not everyone will be so lucky. Watch out for it, they sit there at all times of the day/night. Good luck!
