Alone this stretch of roadway you start in McSherrystown, with a residential area heading east clearly posted at 25 MPH, as the density of the housing falls off and there are no houses on the right the speed remains 25MPH. The safety issues are much more appropriate and the road condition, (dead on straight stretch of roadway) would suggest a 35 MPH zone, but the area has been Vascar striped to shake the money maker.
