Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania Speed Traps
Rich valley road , near I81 bridge
Radar on both sides of road , Silver Springs Police waiting
Lambs Gap Road between Scenery Dr and Cannon Dr
Cop usually sits on Lexington Drive. They use the white lines and sometimes use speed detectors/ENRADD. Speed limit is 35 most people go 50+. Look for an unmarked blue 2006-2008 ford explorer. Sometimes there is a marked car. My neighbor got pulled over for going 40 on that road.
Creekview Road at the Hampden Twp Park
Speed limit drops to 25 near the park. Even if you stay on the brake, it is easy to pick up speed going down the hill. The road was recently resurfaced, and cops are taking full advantage of it, sitting at or near the bottom of the hill timing cars.

police car sits up a hill backed up….kind of hidden by trees…just prior to rt114 exit
Silver Spring, Pennsylvania
On Route 114, between the Route 944 intersection (Turkey Hill/CVS) and the I81 ramps. In a grove of pine trees, on the hill, Silver Spring Police run VASCAR; stop watch method. They sit far back from Route 114 using a side road; on the other side of Rt. 114 is a gravel commuter parking lot. Look for a series of thick white lines. They sit so far back they cannot even see the full set of lines. They have pulled traffic over at night even, claiming the lines are reflective; which they are not.
