The device is on the sides of the road and the cop sits behind good tree cover on both sides. It is downhill and chances are, you WILL be over the speed limit. He is not gunning radar. Hands free makes it easy for him to get you. Located up the hill from Locust Grove.
I-79 approx 3 miles south of exit 121
There is a pull-off in the median where they can sit on a hill of sorts with a birds eye view and hit both North and South bound traffic with radar. Not visible to North bound lane.
There is a state police barracks only 1/2 mile off the 121 exit of I-79. The entire rt 62 and I-79 corridor in that vicinity is heavily traveled by PSP. Also that post is a landing and take-off point for PSP helicopter which can be seen monitoring I-79, I-80, rt 62 et al.
Pa. State Trooper sits on the entrance ramp to I 79 South.
When traveling South on I 79 at the 121 Exit PSP will sit on the southbound entrance ramp behind trees. You can not see him when traveling Southbound! He sees you and he will catch you.
