Middle Road
Middle Road, between Wilkes-Barre and Nanticoke, is a 25 mph zone. It is a two lane highway with many small lanes and streets branching off. The police sit on these small streets, waiting for violators. When cars are pulled over to be ticketed, this causes traffic backups because other vehicles must go around the stopped cars after waiting for traffic breaks coming from the other direction. If you pass the police car while going more than 25 mph, the next police car will get you! Same goes for garbage pick-up trucks, oil delivery trucks, etc. The entrance to Luzerne County Community College is on this road and students are a constant source of income for this borough.
