East Maitland Lane Lane near Mercer Road @ top of Coaltown Hill Road
Cruiser sits in parking lot of travel agency at intersection where the new traffic lites were installed. P.S. Do not turn on red! They’re writing more tickets for that than speeding. That intersection had a blinker lite for 50 years, people are used to turning when traffic was clear. Not Now….. They will get you. The signs read no turn on red.

State Route 18 near Meyer Street
As youre traveling on north RT 18 into into Neshannock Township from New Castle, you drive about a mile and off to your right there is a gas station called Hyway Oil. The neshannock police sit in the parking lot back in the corner by a storage shed watching for speeders. They have 2 white lines painted across the road waiting for speeders to drive through. This is a hot spot especially at night for spedders because by the time you drive by its too late. The police drive 2 white ford explorers, a marked crown vic and a white unmarked crown vic on the weekends. Going south on RT 18 also they wait in the parking lot of a buick, pontiac, cadillac dealership called Preston motors. As soon as you drive by they get you as you are leaving the township into New Castle. This township is basically a township with well to do people. This is a community where doctors, lawyers, dentists, and professional people reside at. I was told by a PA state trooper 1 time that if you drive a beat up car through this section you will get puleld over and stopped and wrote a ticket. Drivers please beware through this township.
