North Coventry, Pennsylvania Speed Traps
724 Road near US Highway 422
724 towards Pottstown the church on the left next to the storage lot. They sit in the drive way all the time. Ususally DUI check point. Have never seen a cop in the drive way on Sunday.
State Route 100 near Ceaderville Road
North Coventry Township police sit back in the entrance of the the new Lowes currently under construction. Typically you will not notice the marked police car mixed in with all the equipment unless you are looking. This is a Construction Zone & very well marked as 35 mph. You deserve a ticket if you have no respect for the work crews. That is the reason the police are there not to only make some revenue for the township but to get the word circulating to the public. The speed limit is posted not only for the workers safety but yours too. In the state of PA fines are doubled in Construction Zones. The police work this 7 days a week and so has the construction, so be carefull. I have not been stopped here but I know someone that received a substantial fine in the $200.00 range, very likely because of the double fine affect they may also loose there driving privilage.
West 422 at the Keim Street on-ramp
The North Coventry Police department will do the same thing as the Lower Pottsgrove police mentioned in the other 422 trap. The speed limit is 55, but 70-80 is what most people travel. The officers will either sit on the onramp, or sometimes even on top of the bridge and use the white painted lines. Again, it is impossible to see them without looking backwards.
